This vineyard is located in the eastern part of the Valle del Río area. With a south-east orientation and slopes close to 25%, it has soils that are poor in organic matter and have a significant presence of pebbles. Planted with the mencía variety, the vine finds in this plot the challenging conditions that allow for optimal ripening and quality grapes. We produce our Valdecontina Valle del Río wine from this vineyard, along with other plots in the same area.
