Mateo´s Vineyard, located in La Galapana area, covers an approximate area of 2 hectares with trellised vines planted with the mencia variety on a south-facing slope. In this plot, one of our oldest vineyards is also situated, planted at the beginning of the last century, covering an area of 0.2 hectares, where we primaly find the mencia variety mixed with some grenache vines. We produce our Valdecontina La Galapana wine using grapes from these parcels
