It is named after being located in the highest area of Valle del Río, close to 800 meters and on a west-facing slope that reaches slopes of over 20%. Planted in 2002 on a very poor sandy loam soil, and currently converted to the godello variety, its orientation and altitude allow for a slow ripening of the grapes, maintaining their natural acidity and freshness while achieving an optimal concentration of aromas.
