This Vineyard, located on the upper slope of the tower, is named in memory of Don Antolín López Peláez, Archbishop of Tarragona. Around the tower that he himself ordered to be built in the early twentieth century, which is one of the symbols of our project, Antolín also directed the planting of 4 hectares of vineyard on which our vineyards planted with the mencía and godello varieties are now located. The mencía we grow here will give rise, together with other plots from the same area, to our Valdecontina Valle del Río wine, while the godello can be found in the Valdecontina Godello wine.
